We're not dumping, we're just noticing something fundamentally wrong with your offer.  Sorry.  ::)

Posting in a thread with NO INTENTION of buying is called dumping.[/quote]
I disagree. I think posting in a buying thread, making a comment or suggestion wouldn't be dumping it. Also, to someone who doesn't know that you can buy this on DX for a lot less, I think it's fair to post that you can buy it on DX for a lot cheaper. I would be pretty angry if I bought this and didn't know I could get it from DX.

I don't think you should complain about people criticizing your deal. This isn't eBay, it's a discussion forum! You don't just list things and complain when someone says something you don't like, we discuss, and if people want your product after hearing what the majority of the community has to say, then you get a sale :)

Re: DX 200mw red laser packages--only 4 available!

You can't get these diectly from DX anymore if you live in the USA without going through a reseller of some sort.

No, I am going to lower my price since the majority of members seem to think I am trying to rip them off.

$43 DX 200mw
$15 shipping through reseller
$5 UltraFire CR2's
$6 CR2 battery charger
=$69 out of pocket money

Now, take that and add what it costs me to ship and fees

$6 USPS Priority Mail
$2 box
$4 paypal fee
$10 power rating testing of the laser
=$22 additional out of pocket expensises

$69 plus $22 is $92 total out of pocket case.

My new price is $100 even shipped to the USA. I now ask you LPF member is $8 too much to ask for my time and gas money? :D

Incorrect.  I am entitled to voice my opinion.

When someone resells there's always a markup.

Correct.  But too high of a markup is called "gouging".  Gouging usually occurs when a formerly freely available product becomes very rare due to outside influences.  Another example would be gasoline in an area recently hit by a major hurricane.

Incorrect.  I'm not only a laser enthusiast, I'm also an accountant.  Though power testing is a "value-added" service, there's no real out-of-pocket expense.  The only "expense" is the cost of the battery/AC power of each individual test, which is negligible.  Therefore your "out-of-pocket" expense is closer to $82, which at your new price is $18 or 18% markup.  That seems reasonable.

expensises

Incorrect.  You fail at spelling.

also that $15 for the reseller includes the shipping and the box and whatnot.

I pity the fool who tries to make too much profit on an item, says Mr.T :D. I need to take some of you to the car dealership next time I'm looking to trade ;D ;D
Good Luck Sportcoupe...

Yeah...  :o   Where...  :-? :-?

BTW... it is a free market... you can sell for the price you want..
If the price is too high.. the product won't sell.. It's as simple as that. 8-)

Can't see why we need to complain about the prices... just don't buy...  :)

When I'm out shopping... I don't stop at every vendor and complain
about his "high prices"...  I just don't buy and go somewhere else...:-?
