I've bought 3 of these before for my own projects. I don't know exactly the mw without a LPM but I would guess around 100mw - 150mW. They are easy to up the power but be careful as it isn't built to last if you modify the power by a lot. It's still a great module for the price and you'll need glasses. I'm pretty sure this doesn't come with an IR filter. It get really hot after a couple minutes of being on so I would recommend a good heat sink in your build. Let us know how it works out for you!

They are actually quite beastly, especially for the price. Mine is much brighter than a 1w 445 and has pretty wicked beam specs.

I put one in a C6 with a 18650 and had great results:

The dot is visible in daylight and the beam is visible in lit rooms and night.

It can also light matches and cut tape but I'm not really into that, that's what my 445 is for ;D

I haven't tried that exact module, but I have tried many green modules from for example ebay. You have to look at 1) the price and 2) the working current. The DX module is 250mA at $30. This is consistent with modules I've bought sold as ~100mW, not 200. And even so the modules were rarely up to spec. So my guess for this module would be 30-100mW depending on your luck, maybe an average of 60-70mW in good conditions (temperature etc).

I've probably used somewhere between five to ten of these modules over the years. IIRC They were usually around the 100mW mark. My weakest one was near 70mW.

They are nice little modules actually other than being 50% of spec. For $40 you get a nice, 100mW green module with decently stable output and usually a good beam. The lead wires ALWAYS fall off though, so I just solder on new ones. I usually short the switch on them, depending on my use for them.

I'm batting .500 with 200mW 532nm modules, of the last two I bought, one was DOA, and the other was IMO, pretty good at 124mW average, and 165mW peak.
It has a nice straight thin beam, and pretty good divergance. I bought it at Aurabuy of all places.

I've got to agree with styro on the shoddy solder job on those lead wires, they are guaranteed to fall off, that is, if they're still on when you receive it!

Last one like this I bought, not the same model though, put out about 100mw but part of that was Infra Red, no filter in it. Of course, similar looking doesn't mean it will put out the same, but mine was listed at 200mw too.

Hi, the package has arrived for almost 2 months :yabbmad: Anyway lead wire can hang out any longer than 2 days. Great beam, brighter than my first green. Uhm just want to know, what is the correlation between voltage and brighter laser ? If I put 3.7 Volt rather than 3 volt (done it with cables to my cellphone battery :p ) will it more brighter ?? I just need brighter for now...
Oh yeah , 3Pig, I need to know how to fit this module to aurora cree c6 host, i though it has hole in it sink...but noot. Dont have tools to drill a hole.

Well, I thought gotta drill that cap hehehe, just add heat sink from SL or made some. Still gotta mod inside c6 to draw the electron from bottom to copper)

Received it today (order placed 20 days ago). Packaging was terrible (just the laser module in a plastic bag placed inside the bubble mailer). Fortunately, the wires on mine didn't fall off unlike others.

I wanted to make sure its not DoA. I tested it at arm's length using my cellphone battery for a second(in a somewhat unsafe manner). I don't have any other high power green laser to compare, neither do I have any LPM (but I already own a 9mm 445nm copper-module from DTR). Looks like this is a good value for money, so far. The beam was bright and I was able to see dust particles clearly inside the corridor of my apartment. I plan to remove the switch/ replace the weak wires/ place this module in a small heat-sink in future for better durability.

EDIT: The resistor gets really warm after 5-6 seconds of operation from a fully charged Li-ion battery, so maybe 2x AA alkaline/ higher wattage resistor is the way to go?

Well, long shipping from August 7 to October 7 :gun:
1. No Lead wires off until 3 days :wave:
2. Bad luck on glasses (still bad lumination / dirty lens ??)

Here it is check with Astralist (my fellow Indonesian LPF member) LaserBee II OEM.

MAX : 98 mW ($ 29.9 worthed ??)
BATTERY : 4.08 V (use c6 host with copper from SL, 18650 3.7 V battery rather than 3 V)

Can poke hole on dark plastic but not with matches (only via added focus lens)

I would assume it is 200mw for sure. The pump diode is that is! Not the end light beam though!

Yep, I took apart one of those "8000 meter" green lasers sold on ebay and the pump diode was putting out about 200mw. Later, I took a 301 and measured just the IR by using a black glass filter which blocks visible light and found that 30 percent of the output was IR, so when measuring with a LPM, your 100mw might really be 60mw of 532nm.
