Hi, can anyone tell me if i can use one 1 ohm resistor, 2 1n4004 diodes, and 4 1n4007 diodes to create test load for phr 803t. Im asking this because i cant get any 1n4001 diodes in Croatia:(. Thx for your help...

i don't know if you can make it with 2 4001 and 4 4007 but you can do it with 6 4007
thats how i make mine.

Can someone answer my question? I cant get two more 1n4007 diodes right now and I need a test load...

Thanks!

Omg!, im asking simple question, can someone answer it, not give me the alternatives...

dont get rude... its not appreciated...

you can use any of the 1n4xxx diodes if im not mistaken.

I would assume that if the design calls for 6 4007, you cant replace 2 for 2 different ones.
Unless 4004/4007 specs are identical.

I wasnt rude, i just asked a question, i didnt ask how i can get dummy load. Sry to everyone who got insulted by my posts

Btw drew can u test it if u have proper dummy load. You know, connect proper dummyload, and measure the v and ma, then make one from 4 4007 and two 4004 and 1ohm resistor and then measure again to see if its same. Ofcourse, if u have these diodes.
Thanks!

All 1N400x diodes have the same voltage drop (within a few mVs), the last digit refers to the breakdown voltage of the diodes. So yes, you can mix and match.
