Dubstep or Drum n Bass - if you like it post a song!

Even though I'm a DJ , I only play funky/miami/disco house.

Not sure what this has to do with anything but yano haha.

Ok.

Disco House?

Sister Sledge- Thinking of you (Audio jacker remix)

Or..

The Black Project - In the disco

My take on Miami House?

JCA Pres. Solaphonics - Total Love (Raul Rincon rootz mix)

Want to ask me what my favourite tune ever is?

Its this...

Duke - So in love with you (full intention mix)

ps. If you have a good sound system, Listen to the bass sweep starting @ 1.13

Hi Ped,

Yeah that was cool man thanks I like those! I actually have some late 80's and very early 90's house music that sounds a bit like that. What era is the last track you posted with the nice bass sweep? I like that kind of house as well even though I am mostly a drum n bass guy.

I'll look for some of the older house stuff I have and post some.

Thanks again for adding those man, and I liked the bass sweep it was nice. I have some 5.1 THX computer speakers that have really nice clean low end so it sounded great, the only problem is the file cabinet right next to me that was vibrating and shaking itself apart with the bass harmonics!

Duke - So in love with you , is an old track but that remix came out in 1996 , I heard it in Garlands, Liverpool UK , widely regarded as the best club in the world (back then) , and the sound system in there is one of the biggest and best iv'e heard , and that bass sweep made people who were stood by speakers, sound like robots, like when you talk into a desk fan.

That sounds great. Once you go to a big sound like that you can't go back. :D

Here's a clip from the Shambhala festival near Nelson B.C. Canada. It's held on a farm that borders the forest and there are 6 or so stages all with different themes. This one is called the village and it is like the ewok village in starwars. It is like a magical fairy nymph forest and an awesome setting for a festival. I really want to go but I'd probably be like an old man there lol. Although it's pretty much a hippy town (Nelson) so I'm sure there's a lot of older people that go there too. :D

Right click and select watch on youtube for fullscreen!! (If you don't know that already)---- 2:32 shows the best view of the setting and the ewok forest catwalks.

Love the progression from rock to dubstep to dnb. These guys are fast becoming my favorite [read: only] dubstep producers.

Wow all I can say is that is epic! I like the transitions in the song too and what a great video as well! Half the work is making those great videos but the song in of it's self is a really creative remix.

JLSE's puppet going out of his mind at 1:50 is great!

Nough said

That's a great track, I haven't heard that thanks!

Two more of my favorite old DNB tunes, (although there are a lot) I think both of these are about 18 years old now.

One more must listen. :D Jamaican influence, and a definite bad boy tune!
