Dragonlasers or Optotronics??

Which laser is better???

If you look at the beam divergence of the higher quality lasers it isn't so good. Not like they're going to break or are low quality, just higher beam divergence may be a turnoff. HOWEVER, if it fit a beam expander and new lens I'm curious how an RPC or DL would stack up against this noticeably cheaper alternative

I hate DL since they trick newbies on youtube by saying them that "they are the only reliable company and that everything else is shit"

Just look at the coments on "dragonlasersfanman" every single video. This is not fair and so I would stay away from them.

Albert

LAserglow is toooo much money!:D:D

The prices are because of how much work goes into making each laser stable and making sure that it's QUALITY merchandise going out. They normally ship overspec and have excellent customer service/quality control. You should call in and see if maybe there's a forum discount or something available.

Try sales@laserglow.com or their phone number (probably not a bad idea) which is 1 416 729 7976.

I agree - I've owned more lasers than I care to admit (and worked with even more) and have never seen stability, quality builds, and divergence specs, etc like I have with LaserGlow lasers.

I believe they have around an 8% discount currently for LPF members - it can't hurt to give them a call, especially if you are looking for no duty cycle, forced air cooling, external power input, TTL modulation, etc - the Herc definitely is in a class unrilvalled!

How about skylasers? Their prices look excellent for the quality they provide. Plus, their portable lasers are focus adjustable...why doesn't anyone talk about them? It seems they offer a 1 year warranty on their portable lasers.

Well first thing is them burning plastic in a room, Thats just stupid. Second 300 dollars for 150mw pen, thats a rip right there.

I've never seen that design they have but no reviews I would be wary. How do you know about the quality? Adjustable? Looks sketchy

EDit: Searched and found this, I definately spoke too soon

i just cant afford them...im not saying theyre bad.i just got an RPL 260 for $400!!!

Three best companies IMO are:

Nova Lasers
Optotronics
Laserglow

It all depends on what you need/want out of the laser.

im 16.. could only afford the 200 dollar pen... its a 150+mW premium pen pointer.. umm yeah, its verified at 164mW average which prolly peaks at about 180 which isnt important but whatev. OPTO
