Title correction: PSS question, not DPSS :)

Hey guys!! Lurking forever, I know. Joined a while back.

I've begun working on my mini-PSS laser (ND:Glass with Xenon flashtubes)... I have the flash tubes and the unit nearly assembled, but then I started thinking...

What particular wavelength(s) of the Xenon flashtube excite the neodymium into lasing? Is it the 1064nm? Any more efficient flash tubes recommended?

Hurr durr I'm getting my terminology mixed up. My laser is just PSS and I'm pumping it with Xenon flashtubes, not a laser diode.

The Nd:Glass pump absorption peak is at 802nm, so whenever the lamp flashes it's 802nm content is what pumps the Nd to an excited state.
