does anyone know where to get a 575 or 561nm dpss laser module (has to be small enough to fit in a pointer, and any power is fine starting from 1mw)

Your thread title is longer than your post!

Chandler Bing called, he said, "could your title be any longer?"...

You will need a budget of at the very least $360 USD: https://www.gophotonics.com/product...optoelectronics-tech-co-ltd-/29-264-pgl-h-589

They also make greener yellows afaik

Another non-answer? lol A reference site that doesn't sell anything , a wavelength not asked for , and a max output level is listed of 0.08mW 1/100th of what is needed among other incorrect specs on that site.

While it isn't anything you asked about, if you actually could perhaps use a CNI 589nm module, Dragon Lasers sells the 10mW version for $400 https://www.dragonlasers.com/ph-series-laser-modules.html

CNI makes and sells compact 561nm modules --you can buy direct or ask reseller Dragon Lasers/China for a price and delivery info if ordered or contact one of their 17 distributors--see: http://www.cnilaser.com/Laser-Module.htm distributors are listed here: http://www.cnilaser.com/Contact.htm

15 mrad divergence? Is that a typo?
Obviously wrong--could be a typo or accidentally on purpose who knows.
Is probably just morons who can't even copy specs correctly considering the other errors in the specs on that site page, as well.

Has to be.
It's not a non-answer. CNI specifically quoted me the mentioned price and specs when I asked and were willing to send me a unit... just that I'm too broke

But the dragonlasers module is way better value, just out of curiosity did you know of any even more powerful providers?
Thanks!

It's fairly common knowledge around here...

Dragon Lasers are CNI resellers. CNI is a very good place to go for dpss modules. They will not be cheap at that wavelength band however. Not many of us are lucky enough to own 561nm. Cheap 565/575nm dpss modules came out a while back but suffered crystal degradation. I’m still awaiting the return of these as improved models.

Could wait a couple weeks and gamble on the cheap ones with known issues coming back. I'm buying 10-15 once that happens, I'll keep what I want and offload the rest here.

I’m waiting for their return. Members here bought them up when they were around. They were a mystery batch that popped up briefly. Some members suffered problems and some still have full power modules. I’ve seen that alibaba still sells some (at least the last time I checked) but not sure how trustworthy they are. Best hope is to wait and see if we get any new modules.
