Hello, does anyone know where to buy a cheap 473nm module?

Lab module? Portable? Power? Diode or DPSS? What do you need it to do?

You can likely push some of the high power 465nm diodes around that wavelength, at the cost of beam specs.

If you're looking for dpss, probably best to just keep an eye out on ebay.

Well there are more costs than beam quality. Pushing those diodes into the 470 nm range also decreases the life of the diode, dramatically increases waste heat, and also increases optical output power, which - I know this is a strange concept to some of you - is sometimes undesirable. All this makes the device a power hog in addition and that can be an issue as well, depending on desired application.

For DPSS 473 nm, there are no "cheap" options unless $500 - $1000 is cheap to you.
I occasionally scan ebay for a deal. They rarely show up.

CNI makes relatively good DPSS modules and is a major exporter to many worldwide distributors. But if you live in the USA, import taxes are very high at the moment which makes it very expensive to purchase from them.

There has been a WickedLasers Spyder II in 473 nm for sale on ebay for a while now but it's more of a collector's item since it is a classic and highly sought design from the early 2000s. The output power is also very low for what it is. That is about the least expensive 473 nm source >5 mW I've seen in a long time.

If power is not a concern, you can get a few milliWatts of 473 nm from a pointer from Laserglow. Still expensive but less so than other options.

Can't really advise more than that until we know more.

if there are 470 or 475nm diodes out there please send a link to them if not please send a link to a cheap 473nm dpss if there are any anything less the $300 would be good, thanks

I do have 50mW 470-475nm diodes on stock, this was a special version from Sharp. Offer them for 250usd each.

YES
it helps if we know where you are (placed in your profile) ...and an intro would be nice (in Welcome section)

19 0r so listed at ehbay-- just search 473 lasers

between 540usd and 3500usd.

why did you want 473?? many other blue lasers MUCH cheaper --
looking for your introduction to the forum

update
unless you have a real need for 473nm... there are lots of other 'blues' and all are less expensive as a DPSS 473nm
And sometimes it only takes a shift of a few nm to make a big change--example a 1000mW 650 or 660 is only as half as 'bright' (to our eyes)as a 640nm with the same mW. (or 500mW of 640nm looks the same). BUT the 640nm diode is very expensive.. 640nm is closer to orange-- a 'brighter color' than red.
good luck

Hello!
I found a used 150mW CNI 473nm DPSS Laser with analogue OEM driver fully working.
Sell it for 300€ if someone is interested.

I hope you didn’t pay 500.00 for them. We bought a bunch for 30.00. I gave mine away except for one
