Well there are more costs than beam quality. Pushing those diodes into the 470 nm range also decreases the life of the diode, dramatically increases waste heat, and also increases optical output power, which - I know this is a strange concept to some of you - is sometimes undesirable. All this makes the device a power hog in addition and that can be an issue as well, depending on desired application. You can likely push some of the high power 465nm diodes around that wavelength, at the cost of beam specs.
Can't really advise more than that until we know more.Lab module? Portable? Power? Diode or DPSS? What do you need it to do?

If you're looking for dpss, probably best to just keep an eye out on ebay.

Can I please see some pictures of the module, thanksHello!
I found a used 150mW CNI 473nm DPSS Laser with analogue OEM driver fully working.
Sell it for 300€ if someone is interested.
