Hey all, I've done ALOT of reading and searching here about building my first build etc. I'm pretty sure I've got it all down, Could someone verify and maybe answer some questions?
Ok, First, What I've ordered.

Host:
Basic C6(18650 Host) from Jayrob with the pill drilled out.

Driver:
Linear driver purchased from Blord for $10. Set at 450mAh.

Module:
3 pack 12x30mm Aixiz laser module housing blank for 5.6mm Diodes & Diode Press from DTR.

Diode:
LPC-826

Batteries:
Ultrafire Rechargeable 16340 3.7v RCR123 Protected PCB Batteries

Thermal Adhesive/Epoxy:
ARCTIC ALUMINA THERMAL ADHESIVE TWO-PART ADHESIVE

Is this everything I need? Am I missing anything? I do have a soldering Iron and solder, That's not a problem. I did also get the pill drilled out from Jayrob. Also, With the positive and negative contacts on the host, Is it going to be case positive, or Case negative? Also, if it were case positive, Where would I solder the positive wire coming from the driver? or if it were case negative, where would I solder the positive wire coming from the driver? Is there anything else you could suggest I could look at? Or even something to keep in mind? All information I can get will be appreciated as I do want to Avoid wrecking anything if I can get out of it. I also do have a pair of eagle eye 650nm Safety glasses. Thanks guys!!

No glasses?!

OOPS... Just read the 'fine print'.

Maybe a contact board so you have something to attach your wires to.

You will also need to insulate the diode from the host since it is case negative. Buy anodized heatsink from cajunlasers or somewhere else.
Do I HAVE to do this? Is there a way around it? I just wanna get it all going.

Ask Blord if your linear driver has a continuous negative.

It does not matter if it is continuous negative because his negative pin is case pin...

Umm no. It will work if the driver has a continuous negative mate.

Continuous negative means the negative input to the driver and the negative output of the driver are connected, or common if you will.

Your driver is mohgasm right? LM1117 based, so they should be continuously negative.
He means that you can connect the positive pin to the positive driver out, and negative to negative driver out without insulating the diode. Then just have a positive In on the driver connect to the positive on the battery like on that tutorial.
