Very nice...I really like everything about those pics...well done :)

is the Potentiometer sopost to change my voltage?
i hooked up 4 AA batterys and thats giving 6.5 volts at the end where the laser will soon go its at 5.5 volts..  i must be shorting sumthing that seems high

yea btw sweet pics^

have you put a load where the LD is going to be?
If you have built the DDL circuit the pot changes the current.....

the pot was not changeing the curent that just cunfused me.

The schematic showed the chip and the connections. The breadboard pic showed the pins ;) Not to mention the back of the RS package shows that too :P

ok thanks i understand it now
dam now i have to un-do my re-do....
radio shack didnt have it labled on the back of there packaging thats what confused me :P

Knasterpijp which MXDL are you using? the 3xAA or the 1xCR123 one? i'm still trying to figure out which host light I wanna use.

in the end how many volts am i sopost to see coming out of this
im getting 5.44

O.K. I'm jumping in on this, and I have a few questions before I order the needed Components.
Take a look at the list of components in the pic.

  • Is there anything incorrect?
  • is there anything you would change?
  • If so Why?

Thanks.
