hey all i would like to know what parts i need when making a green laser and also how to make it, it would be really helpfull, thankyou. :)
 





You need an 808nm pump diode (At least 500mW), a KTP crystal set, a driver, as well as an extremely steady hand and some precise measurments.
 
I wonder why he left. was that his original name or was it someone else who changed their name?
 
thats too bad. you should have just explained how it could be done. i have redone a few cheap green pointers and realigned the crystals to make a better beam.

but its deff not a good first diy type laser.

and he may have thought you just needed a green diode
 
Meh... He is my friend... I told him to make a new account with a new name :P He should be back soon, with a better name I'll ask him tomorrow ::)

Jayrob has a DIY green kit but you dont buy crystals and crap you just use a green module from o like i think and put it in a heatsink inside a cree host
