^ what qumefox said , but that does look awesome, even though it seems to have a very distinctive reflection , seems kind of dangerous ..

Get the 48x49
Then get a cheap painting from Ross. Take out the painting and use the frame.
Also buy particle board and adhere the vinyl sheet to it.
Cut the sheet and particle board to fit your frame.
This material is THE BEST of all the paints and glow materials. I have tried most of them. They all SUCK compared to the glow products offered at Glorope.com

It really isn't too reflective as most the light is fluorescing in the sheet. Also it only needs 5mW of violet to make and incredibly bright glow. In the video I used a 50mW.

No problem, I have wasted enough money on crappy glow products in search of the best and it brings me pleasure to save others the hassle. I absolutely love my glow board. Everyone who comes over to the house is amazed by it. Especially in the evening when it is dark. Artist love drawing on it. We also play tic-tac-toe and pictionary type games with it..

Another fun thing to do is make the whole sheet glow, and then take a 50mW+ red laser and write on it :D

What will happen if you put a red laser to it?

btw ive seen videos where the blu-ray laser was shined on the glow board.. and it was different colors instead of green it was blue, and it seems like some other ones i have seen last much shorter then others.. like almost seconds after exposure to blu-ray, rather then lasting maybe 30 minutes to one direct hit

I did the same thing with a piece of hardboard (2x4) from H.D. same paint.. It works good with my projector and probably with my pointer when it gets here.. Doesn't like red very much.. I have a high power flash so if I put something on the board or stand in front of it and fire the flash it leaves an awesome shadow effect :P

Painted the other size matte black as a screen for my projector

Red's will drain the energy state of some GITD materials. So depending on the material, if you make the sheet glow, 'writing on it' with a high power red will leave a dark line.

It's how some IR detector cards work as well.

Where does one find this "glow powder" and what does one do with said powder?
