Here is my completed aluminum housing for my DIY GB red diode I just received from SenKat. It is standard aluminum tubing from Lowes and has standard plumbing fixtures for end cap and front aperture. It uses 2 CR2 lithium cells and also uses the standard DDL driver circuit found on the forum. I bought a powder coating gun from Harbor Freight for $39 on sale and bought a $28 toaster oven from Walmart to do the powder coat finish. I printed my own label using samples request from www.onlinelabels.com. What do you all think? I have no idea about power output as I have no meter but it is rawing 220ma so I'm guessing around 140mW - 150 mW?
