Dilda from o-like?

and to have one with TRUE 200mw how bucks they want ? :) jander6442.............how can you put in the dilda 2x 3holder aaa? it fits? cr2 are about 1.6/1.7 width.... but a 3 aaa holder it about 2/2.1 cm.. i measured it now! so... if you put it into the dilda.. i think that the dilda tube is not PERFECT for the cr2 battery but has a bit of free space around the battery. is it real?

If you want above 200mW, use 3.6V CR2 (hard to find instead of 3V ones (sold at DX). This laser's driver is not fully regulated, and the output depends on the input voltage. You can get more than 220mW this way, and the diode will withstand it because it's a long die closed can one. There's a member here who went upt to 12v input... and the results were awesome (above 260mw i think). It's all about chinese drivers...

Actually.... I hit 322mW @12VDC... for short ON times...
But yes... the easiest way to almost guarantee 200mW from a Red Dilda
is to use 3.6V CR2 batteries similar to  these ones...  8-)

If you are putting 12 volts into the Dilda Driver...
your cycle "ON" time will probably be closer to 5-10 seconds...
The driver and diode at that voltage get really hot and fast... 8-)

Buying a Dilda has always been a Crap Shoot....
Like "BrewCityMusic" posted......
It is a measly $46.00 for a 200mW Red laser....
and it sounds like you guys were buying a $600.00 laser...

If Susie has to continuously test every cheap Dilda laser she sells and guarantee
the output of that inexpensive 200mW laser...
then I can see the price will eventually be going up to cover
her extra time expenses... IMO :o

Well she's getting 6 bucks from me just for choose a good one, wich had been sent to someone anyways for the normal price. That takes 5 or 10 minutes max. 6$ for 10 minutes of testing lasers, its not that bad :D

$6.00 you should get 10mw more for a bargain :o but the time you get it focused and the amount of feel of your pants for the 10mW increase
you should of saved your bucks.

You are greatly underestimating how much time is involved in testing a laser.

and to test properly you would have to clean that crap off and be real careful when testing :-/ or your going to fry it. :'(
seems mute for $10.00. I should set up a link to me when dildas are fried I'll buy them up cause they have a kick ass laser module.
All threaded aluminum no chance of screwing up the post of the diode. peace.
 
laserbee.. your link is correct.. yeah.. but the item showed in ebay it is not correct. that guy is selling 4 x CR2 3.6V Rechargeable Battery + CHARGER 3V...... 3 volt charger... it is not a good idea use it with 3.6 v batteries
 
well It's not about the inital 10mW difference, is about how much will increase with 3.6 cells if the initial power is alredy 190mW 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

And well, i doubt he have one bwetween 100 lasers on 190mW maybe she just had to test 3 or 4, for 6 bucks lol.

In my shop the hourly rate for a simple Technician is $97.00 /Hr...
Using your time frame... that would be a minimum of $97.00/6 = $16.16... for 10min::) ::) ::)
That's about the price of buying 4pc of 3.6V batteries and a charger...
Just the setup time for my technitian would be 20-3o minutes without the TEST time.
Where is the logic... ::) ::) ::)

I'm sorry... BUT... I have already Posted that I have purchased the exact Batteries and
Charger that I linked to.... I have posted that I received the Batteries and charger
and I have posted that I have used them in my Dilda to increase the power from 176mW
to over 200mW...

Now... you...without purchasing these batteries... you question my honesty of my posts... :-? :-? :-? :-?

I see that often you question the response of your queries by more knowlegable members

i only said that in that link there is a 3volt charger. only this. if you received a 3.6 volt..... ie could be possible.. but it wasnt the right item you bought from ebay.

i am not an uncorrect person or a bad person. i canot understand the difference betweern request/demand/question. the lpf member sould not be so precise in the lecture of the linguage spoken by other member. we aren't all true english. and I THINK THAT NO ONE has bad intentions or be rude.

what can i say of in your link is sold a 3v charger? you are not a liar.... but the ebay seller ... in the link sell 3v charger with 3.6 v battery....I think it is a mistake..in the decscription
UPDATE: the ebay seller confirmed me that there is a mistake in the description..and he ship the 3.6v charger. :)
