Alright, I guess I've waited long enough now until making this public:

On 21/08/2014 I placed my order and paid the amount of $320.46. It has taken them a week to set it on "processing", which is not unusual and not dramatic. But about two weeks after that the order status was still the same and I sent my first message to Max. He has admitted that one of the laser pointers I had ordered was not in stock, although there had been a different information in his online shop.
I've decided to wait until it would have been available again and I've asked Max, how long this could probably take. He has never replied again.
Over weeks I've repeatedly tried to contact him with two different email addresses (in case of my messages getting intercepted by his spam filter) and through the contact form on his website. I've even sent him a message on Facebook and on this board.

Now I'm very disappointed, because I've never seen somebody reporting on anything similarly bad news regarding Max and his online shop.

Is there anybody having made a comparable experience?
Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue, please?
Surely I'm not ready to loose my money, as the aforementioned amount truly is no peanuts to me.

Regards

Oh man, well I hope your laser arrives. Lazerer has gone downhill fast and has been very unreliable. They sell good lasers and they used to be an awesome company a few years ago from what I've heard, but they haven't been responding to emails or even shipping some of their products these days.
It is possible that your product might have been been shipped and is waiting in customs.
In that case, it could take up to 2 months to arrive if it doesn't get destroyed by them.
If you used PayPal, I would start a dispute as soon as you could.

Because most of Lazerer lasers don't meet the FDA standards, Paypal might not help you in a dispute. However if you run a credit card through paypal like visa or mastercard, these companys will give you full money back which is probably the best way to go. The reason I said this is because I'm pretty sure that PayPal doesn't allow the sale of high power lasers (>5mw).

Well, sadly I'm pretty convinced that the package has not been sent by now, as the order status has been stuck at "processing" for more than two months now and I haven't got a single reply from Lazerer.

Another bad circumstance is that I could only use my credit card (VISA), when I placed my order. I've had absolut confidence in Lazerer, because with another order about two years ago eveything had gone well.
I am completely disappointed with Max now.

That's even better. File a claim with Visa and all money may be returned to you!

Unfortunately lazerer has really gone down hill. At least you used a credit card, so you can open a dispute that way. Too bad you didnt read some reviews here first before buying from them- there are very few positive encounters with lazerer. You are far better off buying from a forum member owned shop, like SciFiLasers :) Hope it works out for you!

Good point. Didn't think of that.

File a claim with Visa as fast as you can. Disappointment isn't going to get your money back.

You're actually fortunate to have used VISA instead of PayPal, especially if you don't want to deal with PayPal's dispute system regarding lasers, etc.

@ I haven't bought from WL yet, because they are more expensive.

I'm not quite sure about the possibility of filing a claim. I've gone on the VISA website and they are indeed claiming that in case of a fraud you can get your money back. But in the small print they are stating that actually it depends on your banks conditions.
So I have to wait until getting this information next week.

lots of people around here, myself included, have found max unresponsive after he/they have your money, though I did get my laser, and it worked correctly, I think i was one of the last with a positive experience, though I later found the same laser for cheaper elsewhere

ring your bank asap dude. I had this weird moment about 2 months ago. I had money withdrawn from my paypal. Someone logged onto my paypal and sent $200 to brendans@live.com or something like that which made it seem like my name. Luckily it withdrew from my debit mastercard linked to my paypal. I rang the bank and had the money back that day

@Reiign: So there hasn't been a debit advice, but rather a remittance? With a debit on one's credit card you can easily get your money back, but I think it's much trickier when you've made a remittance as in such a case you would have to proof that your claim is reasonable.
And even this, as far as I know, depends on your bank's conditions.

@ USAbro: I've got to wait till next week, because sat and sun are no banking days over here.

Well you if you dont want to be ripped off tell them it wasnt you who made the purchase and you only just realized. And say the item is still in processing which is easy to prove and you just want to cancel it.
