If im not mistaken, it sais the diode is CAPABLE of reaching those powers.

If it makes all the sticklers and nay-sayers happy, i'll throw in "with a 405-G1 lens" if i have to, My mistake.

That should be a given to the DIYers buying them though... Even though you cant see them at the moment, there are 405-G1's listed, but i am having the entire site re-done by a good friend, and I have everything on hold ATM for a couple more days, Then everyone will be able to see the entire stock of items for sale.

I was about to switch to NEXTERNAL webhosting services, as they are MUCH better, but im waiting to see how my friend does on the site.

And im pretty much at the point where i dont need anyone to "listen" to me.
The sales come, the quality gets sent out. and I rarely ever get a complaint. I do not sell fake, or mis-labeled things. This diode IS capable of 250mW's if you do Things right... I'll add a whole new paragraph stating that at recommended SAFE current, this diode can be pushed to 250mW's or so, but I highly suggest a press-fit heatsink of some sort (wich i will also be selling) and a 405-G1 lens to boost power as much as possible. 25-28% more to be precise "i think thats right, correct me if it isnt... im sure someone will jump on that"

It's the same deal when i advertise my 400+mW build. Powers varry no matter WHAT. There are freaks, there are weaklings, and theres allot right in the middle. SOME people have gotten 490mW builds from me before.

As i'm sure you know from first hand experience, Theres just no way to weed out wich is wich without A) killing it, or B) having a diode analyzer or w/e. THAT i dont have, and probably never will. for obvious reasons... $$$

But either way, i'm always open to constructive criticism, but i stand my ground on the 4X's. I COULD LIE and say 300mW's... as some have, and still do. I wont say any names. No-one who has posted here incase anyone was wondering. Or i could even sell them as 6x's, but i choose not to. WHY? because im not hyping Anything lol :) But thank you for your opinions. I will re-do the description for all the "skeptics"

WOW... i just went back and looked... LOL, it DOES say that you need a 405-G1 lens RIGHT in the description...

Did you even GO to darklasers.com before you made that remark Daguin??? Im thinking not...
 
Good job Dark! It looks like you are well on your way to getting the site up and running. I helped build an ecommerce site 4 years ago. It is a little complicated at the site that I built because the way it works is not straight forward. But that was what my customer wanted. ;-)
 
ZenCart isnt so bad, but i will be switching over to NEXTERNAL web-hosting, wich is over $250 a month!! but worth EVERY penny.

It'l basicly give me a free-flow webpage with unlimited resources, and my OWN dedicated web designer who is on call 8AM-6PM mon-fri :)

But for now ZenCart will suffice!

That DOES suck! I am sorry to hear that you will no longer be able to offer members here the benefit of your builds any more. :cryyy: I read some glowing reviews of your work by Grix, Maxi3D and others, that spoke about your fine craftsmanship and the quality of your completed lasers.
 
Hey Dark, I think your shopping cart is adding 3lbs to every weight. When I went to estimate shipping, it said it was $10.50 for shipping an aixiz module.
