Hello! I would like to post about my new custom laser service!
For about a month and a half now, I have been doing some custom builds, a little hush hush. Whenever I see someone asking for something in particular, I jump on. You might recall my dual diode 405nm build. That is in finalization, and should be out in less than 10-14 days. Depends on shipping times from Belgium! Also, the 685nm pen I did for Dr. Laser that you will find up for sale with the rest of his collection in the B/S/T section. I'm also working on an RGB set (also waiting on drivers) and another 520nm build waiting on a heatsink. I like to build! Probably more than collect at times. I like keeping my hands busy, and working with the iron. It feels good to create things. So, this is why I've built up a sort of symbiotic trade agreement with MrCrouse and (possibly) Sinner, to do custom builds with their lasers. Made to order!
I've PMed Sinner about starting a trade deal, and am awaiting a response, but I won't jump the gun and say I am providing builds by him. If it comes to it, I can just buy hosts directly from him.
The process can work 2 ways.
1: You PM me telling me you want [insert diode] in an [insert host] and what other details you may have (current, lens, etc) and I will coordinate that with MrCrouse or Sinner, get that host shipped out to me, gather whatever materials I need, build, and ship. Done! You get your custom laser, Sinner and MrCrouse get paid for their work (a couple ways to go about that too) and I get to keep doing what I love, building and keeping the iron blazing! However there is also option 2, which is as follows.
2: I will have a stock of hosts from both builders, some built into, some empty. I will from time to time have 1-3 built with a popular diode of the time. Whether that's a 12X, 1-3W 445, 520nm, or a Mit, or any other diode I feel like building with, they will be on hand. Chances are they will be for sale in a BST thread, updated with lasers. Chances are I will just use the same thread and just update the OP with the current lasers available. When these sell, the cost of the host will be sent to the builder, and the laser sent to you.
So! Let's get started with the hosts available! We have all of Sinner's hosts, and the 2 new hosts from MrCrouse. It hasn't been decided whether these will always stay the same, or whether all will be unique, so if anything else comes up this thread will be updated to reflect that.

So, you've seen the hosts, now, what is available? Well, anything! 9mm 445 build, 638nm 500 or 300mW diodes, 520nm, 12X, all of it! Even if you see a cool diode on ebay, or Thorlabs, and want to give it a shot, we can do it! As long as it doesn't require some ridiculous operating requirement, I can work with it.
So, without further adieu, let the orders begin! Got any questions? Any requests? Let me know! I'm here for you, it's your laser after all, don't settle for something because you don't think we can do it, I'm willing to work with anyone on these, they are CUSTOM are they not?
