Man, I'm sorry to hear that, Billy. I guess you know best what to do under these circumstances, but I would try to hang onto as many as possible, even if it meant storing them somewhere else for awhile. Good luck, buddy.

why dont you just disguise them as lab units? surely you can think of something to make them look like labbys and not handhelds..?
ive done something similar to this with one of my handhelds to keep it cooled and from rolling around and it wasnt all that hard.

I'm not going anywhere guys, well maybe gail again if they find a handgun, but seriously this is my hobby I didn't buy a lathe for nothing, I love making custom builds and I'll keep making them regardless, yes I'll miss the few that I'm selling but they are documented and on u tube and I can build them again this time even better, man since I joined 2 years ago I haven't sold anything, Bob was the lucky first to buy a custom 5w pen only few months ago,
Like I said previously it's easy to hide a few but 15 is just too many and considering I'm still building there will be more, I don't want to have to store lasers at family or friends this is my hobby and my problem, most people know there illegal here and at work so all assume I am BADBOYBILLY even though that's just my LPF name yeah!

Doesn't seem that hard to hide lasers, I mean they're not like drugs where a dog can sniff them out. Just hide em all in a wall or something.

I've got to say i love the two tone look of your hosts !

I'd love to get one of your hosts with a on/off switch instead of a push and hold down, That i could drop a 25mm DTR 520nm 1.5watt module into, That would be really something, Or even better would be a 589nm diode that i could put into it and it was over 1 watt that wouldn't cost thousands of dollars !

That diode doesn't exist, so you couldn't have one at any price. 589nm will be a long way off before you will be able to get one at 1 mW and even then, it won't be cheap.

I didn't say that it does exist, What i said was "even better would be" but besides the possibility of existence of such a diode I've seen more that one 1 watt + 589nm laser but they were all lab units and there for not hand held, The speed at which laser tech is evolving blows me away so who's to say what the future will bring and how soon ?

All 589nm and 593.5nm lasers are pumped solid state lasers. The 589nm, which is also the main Na line, is easier to produce than the 593.5nm which needs two IR sources and an NL crystal to get it to lase. These won't be showing up as direct diodes anytime soon. The article in Laser Focus World recently made that pretty clear. I hope to live long enough to see one, but at the rate it's going now, that might not be possible.

(My opinion) maybe some of your neighbors ... did not do his own and warned the police? Maybe in the past did you see the laser pointing?
If it happened to you, then can anyone happen to you on LPF?

Huge price drop guys $400us I cannot believe there is no interest this is a custom 594 not a Rigel. I know if I was buying a 594 I would rather this than a brass pen! And it's cheaper than a Rigel!

What can happen is it will hang for awhile and soon after it is sold two people will wish they saw it.
