Cool knife edge contraption

Thanks for that explaination but there's one problem, I'm using a dicro to mix the red and blue, not knife edge it. The two reds will be knife edged to stack like "8" instead of "00" and as you mentioned, the blue will exit like "I" rather than "--" so when I mix the two the "8" and the "I" should overlay each other better.
Now I just have to find my pass red reflect blue or visa versa. I'm pretty sure I've got one or the other. Which one will determine which comes first.
