i guess i should have noted i sent a few emails through that 2 weeks ago and have not gotten a response and when i go to checkout there is no paypal option...what do i need to do to use paypal?

open a account on lazerer, or something like that, all i know is i didnt have to enter my credit card details (i think, it was time ago though).

You can no longer use Paypal. They have a LOT of items that are out of stock and have a veeery slow response time to their emails... I gave up on them after 20 minutes. Try Survival lasers/O-like...

nope, they arent that bad, and you gave up after 20minutes!?. dude, max isnt just sitting at his laptop waiting for a email from you, give him a few days atleast. and i have bought from lazerer in the past, my order arrived to the uk 5days after i paid, and it was free shipping, not the ems or anything. olike is ok, but prices are expensive, survival lasers doesnt sell complete lasers as far as i know/remember.

not what i ment... I gave up on them so quick because the first 8 lasers i tried and wanted to purchase were out of stock... So then I gave up but ailed them though... I sent them a message about when they will re-stock but after 3 weeks still no reply...

And about the survival lasers, You mean complete or allready build? they do sell them allready build and all but those are the most expensive ones... You can get the building bundles for many others and it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to assemble those >.< dont see that as a major problem :P

oops, guess i havnt been browsing surival as much. personally i think their kits are a tad bit expensive, but they are good quality.

No more free shipping at Lazerer.

They are going slowly downhill.

TJ, I noticed in another thread you suggested not to go with Lazerer and to go with O-like instead.

Are there other observations about Lazerer as well that have changed your mind? Are there other things make you think they are going downhill, and what do you think is going on with Lazerer?

I was thinking they were still in the good category of recommended Chinese sites to order from...

I just ordered something a while back and Max seemed quite friendly and helpful with some of my special requests with my order which was the 200mW 638nm single mode.

I hope I don't appear being critical, I'm just curious as I thought you used to be almost the go to person on here regarding knowing Max from Lazerer and just wondered what made your opinion shift of them?

No not really. I did one review and Max dropped me like a hot potato. The only reason I backed up Max so much was because his practices where in our best interests. As you know there are very few decent cheap laser retailers.

They are changing their practices slowly one at a time. Plus customer service quality has dropped too. I'm biasing my opinion from experience from all the other past companies that did the same thing, then failed. I cant honestly back up a company like that.

What usually happens next is the laser quality will drop. I hope it doesnt happen, but it wouldnt surprise me.

O-Like has always been a consistent company.

I hear Max just acts like a middleman for them. Its not really his company, I could be wrong though. Im waiting on a order from O-like, been wanting to order a laser from lazerer to compare and see how much better/worse their communication and delivery times are this year.
