well, okay my computer is always craping out, freezes, screen suddenly gets blurred and freezes, somtimes screen just goes black, and overall dysfunctional. does that mean i have a virus? if so how do i remove it.

It can be a very large number of problems:

Windows
Trojans
Spyware
Worms
Overheating
Bad PSU (thus overheating)
Bad overclocking
Hardware failing, etc.

I will never know, I don't even use an antivirus. But as I say, viruses only get into your machine if you let them (manually!).

For the most part, this is true... Most viruses these days are installed through user stupidity... Some popup will suggest "YOU'RE COMPUTER ARE INFECETED! CLICK HERE FOR A FREE SCAN", or "CLICK HERE FOR FREE PORNO", people click it, download the file, and run it, thus installing the virus voluntarily... But, that's not always the case, some viruses (including conficker) install themselves via flaws in Windows where a bug in the operating system leaves a back door open for viruses to install themselves.

True. But we can all agree that most cases of viruses/trojans are user triggered.
