Computer issue

[Polythene]

i've played age of empires for over 3 years without a problem. Now it loads so slow. I've tried mackeeper, appcleaner, anti viruses, techtool and istats but with no luck...


I have permisson issues too. When i verify and repair it says it's repaired but if i verify after it shows the same problems. The problems are all about java.

If i open age of empires in console i get this error.

I've also tried installing age of empires 3 from disks and torrents.

Hmm.. maybe download CCleaner and fix your registry with it?

You can also try to scan your computer with Malwarebytes -Anti Malware program.

Thx for the suggestion but malwarebytes and ccleaner are for windows only but i did dw one like malwarebytes and i don't have any viruses.


Is ccleaner for windows only? i was looking around but can't find one....

You used an "anti-virus" program on your Mac? You probably ended up installing malware instead. I'd reinstall your computer and start over.

I've tired sophos and clamxav and found nothing, also i did make a new partion which has different preferences and such. idk what to do now....

I think the console is bring up the issue but idk how to solve it

just did a clean restall and still have permisson issues plus the original problem.

Reinstall java, and then reinstall AOEIII. Make sure to get the appropriate version of java for your particular version of osx.

Might look into updating your OS as well?
