Hello, I'm looking for a stable 635nm handheld Laser with a real power over 200mW or a mint S3 Krypton 500mw/1W.
It's important for me, that the Laser is usable for continuous operation.
I don't like the 30sek on and off Pointers, because I will power a mobile Scannershow. (..and having some longer fun with the Pointer)
Something similar to the CNI PGL-III-635 300mW ?

Don't panic... I've got a laser safety specialist certificate :-)

Best regards
Carsten

Welcome aboard! Don't forget to get some Laser Safety Glasses, and the search function here can be your best friend; don't forget to read the Stickies.

You might want to just buy a Labby, since it would be continuous and runs off of AC.

I hear an Echo.......

Re: WTB 635nm Handheld or S3 Krypton Series

The red one is now ordered.

Still interest in a mint 1W S3 Krypton.

What about reliable an durable handheld green Laser?
I'm looking for a gift.
No one, who have a no longer required dusty pointer in the cellar/garage ?
A custom one is not necessary!!!
Something like this (200-400mW):
  • Firedragon-III 532nm 300mW
  • Rayfoss RF532-200mW-FGB
  • O-like Crown or O-like Power Rock
  • Dragon Lasers Hulk Series

:thanks:

Now that you got the red one ordered, why not just go ahead and order the Krypton. The 500mW won't set you back much money, and WL does offer a 100% guarantee.

I really like the looks and feel of my Krypton 1W model, the beam is awesome and it has no duty cycle.

Click on the Banner Ad of the top of the Forum and it will take you right there.

Re: WTB 635nm Handheld or S3 Krypton Series

I have a Never Used Dragon Lasers Viper 95mW if you interested.
It has Full warranty.

The search has finished.
I've got the red 635nm and a cheap greenie as a gift.

But if someone want to sell a Wicked Lasers Spyder III Krypton (500mW or 1W) please feel free to contact me.

Cheers

Hmmmm.... a new member with two posts claiming his Wicked Laser is not just on spec, but over spec!
I think it'd benefit your credibility to post a picture proving your claim.

$1599 last christmas from WL site

I hate to break it to you, but that "<" sign means less than. And that doesn't mean 1499.9999mW. From what I've seen, that usually mean a LOT less than what is advertised by WL. If you don't have an LPM, you can't know the true output.

Is there a way to measure the real optical power ?
FYI: A picture of the working WL S3 with a sheet of paper in the background with date and membername would be more trustable!
What kind of price did you have in mind ?

Im just saying from what i have, it was a christmas present and i personally watched it being purchased as a s3 krypton 1500mw for $1599 plus shipping and i got the lens kit free. I used it for probly less than 10 min. I dont need it so if anyone wants it just give me an offer and we can do this via PayPal so if not correct money can be refunded.

Yep I have the same one and peaks between 400-600mW.
