Collecting 445 Diode QRCodes/Serials

Bobhaha - that's perfect. I had to play with it manually a bit, but it was clear enough to decode:

attachment.php

Decodes to: 1209532894

That was an A-140? Is it relatively old?

For anyone who can SEE the diode code (via magnifying glass, etc) but can't take a picture, here's a quick way to get the data to the forum:

DiodeCode.xls - Speedy Share - upload your files here

It's an excel file. When you put a "y" in the appropriate location, it turns each square black.

Either re-upload a filled out Excel file, or even just take a screenshot of the completely square itself (the excel worksheet itself will work as a scannable code).

If you've got another 11, and you know the series diode they are, then please, be my guest :)

It make take me a while to crunch through 11 of them, but I'll get it done :)

I'm desoldering the PCB off them and taking pics as I go.... So I'll keep updating this post with the rest of them...

I'm expecting a H series diode sometime this week or next week I'll try and get the best picture I can and post it :)

Bob, so far:

#3: 1108615422
#4: 1108614727 (XLS required some fixes)
#5: 1108615399

Are these from the same source as that one you posted a bit early?

Yup all are from the same projector. Sorry about the errors.. That's why two sets of eyes are better than one :D

That's strange, because the first diode is deviating very clearly from 3 through 6. It appears that these are clearly incrementing serial numbers.

How should I bin them? I have them assorted so I know which diode corresponds to with serial number... now what?

It would be interesting to know which batch of serials was generally more efficient.

I've got a few more of your serials to tackle this morning. I'll get to that right now.

Interesting results from BobHaha. It's clear that the same array used at least 3 distinct diode batches:

#01: 1209532894
#11: 1209532911 (lower confidence scan)

#07: 1209777872 (lower confidence scan)

m-140 from DTR, I can't decode it:

And macro of inside of diode, just because it's cool
