COCONUTS Uranium Marble Bulk Going out of Business Opportunity SOLD OUT!

Ive had that happen on several purchases from members on here.

Proper packaging would avoid lots of issues on here and elsewhere.

:)

So true. It has amazed me what some people would consider as adequate....let alone appropriate.

I once received an empty cardboard box that had a large hole in it, a hole large enough for a 10 lb car part to fly out of...which, coincidentally, was what was supposed to be INSIDE that empty cardboard box...it was shipped in what looked like a shirt box.

I've received a $300 light that was shipped in an unpadded bag, with no box inside, etc...just the light in the mailer, so that the light was dented and banged up in its trip from China to NJ.

And so forth.

I had a TV in the 90's sent somewhere by a shipping depot in my town. That packed in a box with Styrofoam peanuts only.....it was a 27in old school CRT style. It didn't survive the trip

If anyone would like to sell some of these in smaller quantity, I would be willing to buy. I would take like 1 of each or 2 of each. PM me with price. Thanks

Mine arrived, in perfect condition, well packaged and intact.

Thank you!!!!

Now I need to figure out what to DO with them.

:eg:

BTW - you mentioned them making your Geiger Counter go crazy and the higher Uranium content...

What kind of precautions would be appropriate with these puppies?

Curious myself. Any precautions needed before handling these?

Never seen uranium marbles. Sounds cool that they glow and stay glowing after being hit by a laser.

Thanks for the update.

Enjoy:thanks:

Any precautions needed with the marbles?

You mentioned them making your meter go crazy and having more uranium than normal versions, etc....

...Guidance?

:beer::beer::beer:

Don't swallow one, and when not in use put them in a box or on a shelf at least a few feet from where you sit or sleep.

:shhh:

I had a surplus geiger counter back when I first got into these. I went and got new batteries for it just to see if they would be detected.

It did:wave:

Glad everyone is enjoying them:thanks:

LOL

OK, don't eat them or sleep with them...got it.

So they are no different form other uranium marbles, instead of being more potent, at least not the to point of needing any additional precautions.

:can:

I have been asked recently "How to Crackle" Uranium Marbles?

Simple.

Heat oven to 450-500. Place on non food type plate and heat for an hour. Have another non food container deep enough to hold a 1/2 gallon of water and a bunch of ice cubes.

Take the marbles straight from the oven and just dump them in the ice bath!

Important Tip:

Don't do this when your wife is around:wtf:

Wow, that was quick, thanks for directions. I thought it was just a heat and quick chill process, but couldn't remember the details. :thanks:

I'd just let my wife do it, she loves busting stones...
