USPS tracking is ridiculous. They are always off for me by 1-4 days. I always wonder what if I had made arrangements to be home to avoid porch pirates.
Unrelated and just curious: Why is liciday listed as "new member" when they joined LPF 11 years ago?

He hasn’t posted enough yet. That’s why the system considers him to be new.

Another shipment was sent to my address in Alaska, I will be there soon, should come soon after I arrive in a couple of days or so. If I end up getting the missing shipment I will send them back to him, or offer a second GB if he is willing to sell them, but he wasn't willing to do so earlier, not at the amount we were able to get these for at $5 each.

This is great news. Thanks, Chris. I hope you are able to enjoy your trip back to Alaska instead of it being just a work trip.

If you have any bulky old argon/gas systems that you don't have room for just ship them to me, I can make space. :D

Have you seen where you will be living in SD ?

No gas lasers in Alaska, too expensive to ship so have never bought one. Yes, I checked on the area, $$$ to rent anything decent. Very discouraging.

Update, the PL530's arrived in Doha, Qatar, I will be back there after April 6th, but another batch should be showing up here in Alaska soon.

After confirming the units arrived at the APO, AE address,I asked the seller, Wes, in Seattle what he wanted to do regarding the 2nd shipment to Alaska he told me several days ago he was getting in the mail the next day and he responded today he never sent them, just let me and the rest of you believe he had.

I'm disappointed I was misled and won't do another GB due to it, feel safe to order more of them from him yourself in lots of 100 minimum, he appears honest in his dealings sending what you pay for, just not completely honest in his communications about shipments when there are complications involved.

If true, that is another bad mark as I have so many of you waiting. I would order more on a second group buy, but not after that. I am completely honest in my dealings with people and if I don't get the same back, I don't deal regardless of no harm done.

I'm just reacting this way out of principal, feel safe to order more of them from him yourself in lots of 100 minimum, he appears honest in his dealings sending what you pay for, just not completely honest in his communications about shipments when there are complications involved.

It's great, it's just a little bit of trouble, I'm happy to hear this update,The seller is a bit dishonest, but anyway, that's not their fault, shipping may have made a mistake

I think he is honest regarding sending you what you pay for, just becomes very opaque and misleading if he thinks you are about to rip him off. Of course, he said he just didn't have time to send them (when he knew I was only here for two weeks, yea, right).

He didn’t do a thing wrong in our transaction, just the misleading behavior when there was a shipping delay by the USPS. I don’t want to risk more of the same now.

I'd be pissed too. I don't like people who lie to me. Especially when it concerns something I paid for. I won't be sending him any money either.
