Don't think I understand how all the fee stuff works. Can someone educate me on this?
When paying as a gift, I know I pay an extra fee up front. I assumed that this was a credit card fee or is this a fee that goes to paypal or a mix of both?
So for example if I sent Offroad 100 as a gift I know I pay a fee to someone and he gets the straight 100 right?
Then when he sends the money to Kevin he gets charged 4% on top of what he sends so he needs to send the difference so it doesn't come out of Kevins pocket. I must not be thinking about this properly because it would seem that I haven't paid enough then unless Offroad is getting the extra I was charged in the beginning.
I don't get it but then again I've only bought things using paypal. Sure this must be simpler than I'm making it out to be......
