Ok well I only have like $2.00 USD on my prepaid card left and was wondering where I could get glasses for that price.

You can't buy safety goggles for that price.. The cheapest solution ( like $8, including shipping ) would be the focalprice antigreen goggles, if you are looking for green laser protection.

I have purchased the red 200mW Red from budgetgadgets and need some protection.

Then don't turn the laser on until you have adequate funds to buy some, get them mailed to you, and have put then on your head.

There was a pair for sale a little while back, ML7's. They were about $170, if I remember right.

Yeah, they are the ML-7 goggles from OEM LASER SYSTEMS. I own a pair & wouldn't use any other goggles now. Price ? $156.00 shipped, but well worth the $$$. IMHO,
3 words that do not belong together are; eye protection & CHEAP. What the heck are ya thinkin' pal !!! You got 2 eyes !! That's it, no more. 1 mistake, & you COULD be trading in your CHEAP eye protection for a white cane with a red tip & a whole different KIND of glasses. The kind you can't see through, 'cause ya CAN'T see. Eye protection for $2.00,, you REALLY need to give this some more SERIOUS thought :scowl:................ rob

You can make a set of glasses, good for all frequencies and power, for even less than $2.00!

Get a set of (cue ZZ Top) cheap sunglasses, wraparound style. Then cover the lens with several layers of good black electrical tape. Done!

Of course, you won't be able to see much of anything, either, but it will be good practice. Paint a stck white to complete the ensemble.

Geez, even a n00b like me knows that.:banghead:

Just close your eyes!!
for 2$ you can get diff greeting here in the forum to have nice stars effect for your laser..
