i´m searching for an cheap 300mw handheld laser. most companies only sell max 200mw reds. when i say cheap, i´m talking about something about between 100-200 $.
maybe u have some nice tips for me?
 





I'd say go to the buy/trade/sell section of the forum. I just took a peek and Mohrenberg is selling 240mw LOC (red) builds for $60, you really can't beat it, the guys like walmart. Anyhow you could probably ask him to put a little more current to it and push it maybe to around 260mw, then you could put a glass lense on the module, that would put you up near 300mw, all for around $120.

You will need a good lens to reach that power level with an LOC diode.

IgorT builds high efficiency lasers, he should be able to build you one over 300mW (especially with a glass lense upgrade).
 
The guy above is claiming 350mW, but as far as I know no one has bought a laser yet.

I would go with mohrenberg, or if you want a spend a little more go with igorT, both are great builders.
 
Yeah I´ve already read his thread some time ago.

I´ll go for a boringly normal dilda. Their prices are unbeatable and I think they are good good enough for my first high powered red. Still hoping that 635nm getting cheaper.

You are right. Laser in this forum, I have no one bought. But I sent to john_lawson, he confirmed power witch I claimed. And the power has been confirmed!

P.S. I was not selling because the price was high. I lowered it. Price 350mW laser pointer in the usual case = $200 now ;-).
