Changing Eye color with laser

It's up to the individual. I can tell you that if I wanted my eyes changed from brown to blue badly enough, I'd do it in a heartbeat rather than have to deal with contacts and everything that goes along with them on a daily basis. It's the same reason people get lasik surgery instead of goofing around with contacts. Additionally, going from brown to blue requires an opaque lens which is why they usually look odd and unnatural.

If this eye color changing thing is legit, the process will get safer as technology progresses and as surgeons get more experience. It'll definitely look more natural than colored contacts.
 





I'm all for freedom in these surgeries. As long as people understand the risks fully, go ahead and have the procedure.

I would, however, dispute that performing the particular surgery could be safe in any case. Even if the surgery itself doesnt have any change of complication, the resulting increased risk of cancer should be a factor.
 
The sooner our society gets away from the lies created by the media and hollywood left the better.
I look at a persons inside, not their outside, anything else is shallow.
Its also why the divorce rates are so high and there are so many broken homes and broken lives.
No one stays 20 forever,,,,if you mary the outside,,,,you will in every case sooner or later, be disappointed.
 
I'll wait for the Violet eyes, like my uncle (who I was named after). Still shining a laser into your eyes seems like something you would want to wait 4-5+ years for the technique to be refined.
 
See this is exactly what i am trying to help some of you understand, JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE DISAGREES WITH YOU DOESNT MAKE THEM ANYTHING, it only means they disagree with you.

Then again, there will always be lazy people who want something for nothing, problem is, they never keep anything, because, if you dont actually WORK for things, they hold far less value.

Ghost, i might add the left is why Cali is in the trouble its in, even with Arnold trying to stem the tide, their economy is failing due to spending.
Cali also has some of the most socialist laws as well, hard to believe after 14 years my step daughter still has not recieved one penny in child support from her bio father, hard to believe he still gets visitation even after we submitted proof and a victim to his being a pedophile.
SOCIALISM T DOES NOT WORK, ITS IN FACT, A DISEASE.

Everyone who is not you has no idea what they are talking about, right? Listen, I've run a business in California for the last 12 years. I'm pretty aware of the tax situation here. I haven't claimed sides. I just find the way you relentlessly preach your view politics to us here at a LASER forum to be very disturbing. Others find it disturbing as well. That is why you got a negative rep. It doesn't matter to me which side you're on, that's not the point.

Q: What does any of that mess that you typed above have to do with lasers having the ability to change the color of your eyes? :thinking:

I have given both of you +reps to compensate for your... mutual disagreement.

Remember, the topic you both almost got in fight for is trivial and whatever you say, cannot change the present state of things for the better, regardless of your personal opinion. There are a number of flaws in perception of opinion of another human being in play here - if you want I'll link you some great articles on better understanding of what actually happened here.

Bottom line, you'd never say these things to eachother in person if we were all having the same discussion over a cup of coffee at LEM.

So, let's all have one on me, :beer:, and continue on with things more fun and worth doing in our lives, than fighting over politics :)

Perhaps you should check my op in this thread and ask yourself who started what? My point is the media and especially the hollywood left has convinced the great unwashed masses that how you LOOK has anything to do with who you are.

Same old dance, form over function, symbolism over substance.

Im also aware of the cali business laws, flimsey at best, i considered moving my business there but my wife decided she wanted to move here instead,,,i would much rather be there than here right now, i do wish the ocean there wasnt frickin frigid, good god, how do people surf in that.

Actually i would say more and no one would be offended in the least, voice stress and modulation have alot to do with perception, thanks for being the voice of reason and the rep, much appreciated .
 
some dude. Please just stop. Nobody wants to hear it. THIS IS A LASER FORUM. Go find a political forum if the only thing you have to contribute here is political rhetoric.
 
I saw some commercial recently with rainbow eyes and it got me thinking about this thread. It seems to me that some people would want to have rainbow eyes and by partially ablating the "brown" or whatever to get closer to the "blue", you might be able to get multiple shades, and thus create color variations shortly after the initial color goes mainstream.
 
What a great idea! Maybe you could get a spiral of brown and blue. (or a star pattern!) :evil:
