can you tell me how to build a laserpointer?!

Can one of you laser pros tell me how to build a laser pointer in this order:

1: Materials Needed
2o's and Don'ts
3: Steps and Directions

Im new here and thx whoever tells me that would be really generous.

here is a handy, easy, fast, fun, safe, and cheep way to build a laser:

first- buy all of these;

second- take the capacitator from the fluctuater out of the projector and solder it to the resistor on the top side of the fax machine

third-take the projector lense and cut it in half down the north to southeast pole of the multimeter

fourth- take the cutting blade of any lawn mower and bend/weld the edge to the minsemeter to disalign the diode

fith- take apart any camcorder and extract the external housing of the needle-nose head resistor and force it open with a paperclip

finally-install a car battery adapter to the flush compactor from the hose limitor on the sliding diode warehouse inside the computer monitor

fire it up!!! because you have just made a tree cutting big huge laser beam!!!

I just tried this... I dont think it's working. Somehow I am burning my DVD's to vinyl though...

Worked for me..

I even used the spindle motor from the record player and atached to the refraction mirror that i removed from the camcorder viewfinder to make my very own quantized reflection tube.

i'm having so much fun with mine!! so i made 10! i tried to preform laser eye surgery on myself with them by focusing all on my right eye, and to my surprise, it worked!!! i can now read books from 3 miles away!!! ;D
