Will this car do 800km/h? No... Your dreaming...

Most likely Ty ;) Post your link to the Ebay listing. Somebody with a LPM may have bought and measured it. Congratulations :D

Most likely, since almost all eBay green laser "5mW" pointers are all around 30mW green+who knows how much IR, but a lot of IR. So I wouldn't be too surprised that you were able to pop the balloon

just tested my 5mW 532nm fleabay pen and it did 35mW average with 5mW of IR. then tested my laser from lazerer which he metered at 108mW with 12mW of IR and i got a reading of 115-120mW with 40mW of IR so not sure if my IR filter sucks or is spot on but i know the other readings are spot on. the laser pen has been abused as well so 35mW after being dropped and used for 5 minutes non-stop is pretty good in my book. other thing i found with all of my fleabay pens is they are stable as a rock! very little fluctuation in any of them. 5 tested and i was surprised by all 5, ill be ordering some more pens soon :D

BTW to get to your question, my 650nm fleabay pen did 125mW and is labeled as 5mW so yes a 5mW 650nm fleabay laser will pop a balloon if you get lucky like mine

Livinloud,
I'd say you are just very lucky... :p

No i wouldnt say that. ive talked to a few people that have bought 650nm fleabay pens and they do over 100mW constantly. afaik the 405 and 650 fleabay pens are constant within a window; 405nm are normally 70-100mW and 650 are normally 90-110mW. both my 405nm pens do 100mW & 120mW and my only 650nm does 125mW. the 532nm pens are the iffy subject. i have one of those that only does 35mW while other have got them as high as 120mW.
