Take out red, green, and blue module.

Cheap lasers! Will this even work??? Just wondering...

Good luck splitting that driver in thirds. The modules are probably all bolted to the case for thermal reasons. $85 for three low-power modules isn't a good price anyway.

Not worth it. Better off leaving it together and having a fairly decent white laser box-thing. The red died on mime (a 5$ dvd burner type diode), the green was crappy tem01 (which later broke also), and the blue was an osram single mode (dunno if its the 80mw version or the older 50mw version)- the blue is the only thing that still works, I have it in an aixiz module somewhere.

85 / 3 = ~$28 .. you can get all those colours separately INCLUDING drivers cheaper than that anyway.
