I'm new to lasers in general all I have ever had was 5mW and I have recently been doing research I have about 80$ to spend but cheaper is better BUT I need to to last long be proven in strength and sturdy. I have been looking at lazerer.com and then i seen laserpointerpro.com so idk what to trust and what to buy IF you guys could help that would be nice :)

Welcome to LPF!

I'd go with Lazerer. The company has established a reputation in this forum. I personally have one green laser from them and I love it. Whatever you choose always remember to get safety goggles for anything above 5mW.

Edit: You will have to spend more than $80 to get a 150mW green from Lazerer. Check out their site for more info. Don't forget that you also have to buy a battery & charger, safety goggles and pay for the shipping.

I plan on goggles definantly but im asking about best laser for best price from them im thinking 150mw tiny key chain laser for about 69 with all the add-ons :) good idea or not fyi i would get 1W but im training for SF snpe so i need my eyes ;D

It's up to you what laser to choose but personally, I would choose something better than the "tiny" laser. I would get something that looks like a real laser not a pen type one but it's just me. These "tiny" lasers are like disposables. Don't expect them to last very long.

Btw, use the edit button to avoid double posting

okay sorry about that double post and i should pay 20 extra bucks for a focusable? well give me opinons on 150mw for under $100 from them so i can purchase it ans ty for your hospitality and help!!!

general toy as it will be my first but astronomy Building to Building signaling and to piss off my colonel lol and to burn stuff pop balloons in stores uhm just w.e pops up
LZCB - CYBER 532nm 150mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer how about this? its very pricey so if you could find something on the sight thats powerful and cheaper plz let me know

EDIT: should i get a higher power and diff color for cheaper or stick with green and get 100 mw idk i want brightness and burn power :/ but im poor

NEVER use a laser as a toy! You could cause serious injury to other persons. Please stay awy from lasers if you plan o toy around with it.

Basing on videos I've seen, an unfocused 150mW will be able to burn stuff though it will be much easier and faster if the beam is focused. For astronomy, it's seems a little to much but it should still be fine.

The LZCB is a good choice but for me the LZSK look a lot better but I do not know if there is a 150mW version.

For burning purposes matches and popping balloons, 100mW of green Is enough. I was able to burn these things using my 75mw green if you have seen my videos.

Edit:
For even better better burning power, get a 405nm or a 455nm laser. These will burn a lot better than a green but won't have a beam as visible as a green

You know what, the laser hobby is expensive. If you shell out less money for higher powered laser then there is a very big chance that what you get would be way underspec and quality will suck.

I did not say that the "tiny" will die fast since I do not own one personally but judging from its build quality it wont probably last as long as quality lasers.

Any laser 5mW and above will have the potential to cause permanent blindness that is why we need to use laser safety glasses to minimize the risk of an accident and NEVER EVER point any laser at anyone or any animal.

Not to sound rude but please do some more research. You will find lots of info here by using the search function. Chances are your questions have been already answered.

Please stay away from lasers. The reason they got banned and earnt such a bad rep in the first place is dickheads doing stupid stuff with them. If you're just going to be another one of these dickheads, then you do not deserve a laser. They are not toys.

In your post above you said that you have already read the thread i gave you but it really doesnt add up. If you have really read the thread then why do you consider buying from wicked lasers?

You wont probably get a 1W green handheld but there are 1w+ greens available as labbies.
