buying an RPL-225 tomorrow

im going to buy an rpl-225 tomorrow for 250.00 with a power certificate , etc..

is there anything you guys think i should look out for?

who from how old is it, a real RPL

its from a private seller, it looks a bit older, black host as oposed to the silver aluminum host. it has the real rpl-225 sticker and power adjustable tailcap, takes 2 "C" batteries
 
I have a real nice new under warranty CNI PGL III rated 200 mW and putting out 265 mW if you want a price, PM me! -Glenn
 
it is a ppl , i just found this picture he sent me of it.

still a good buy for 250?? whats the difference between a rpl and a ppl.. ive searched and not found anythng for it

ppl is the previous model of optotronics. i don't know what is the difference.. but i think PPL has max 250 mw about... if i am right.! and a diode of about 1 watt or so. maybe 2. the price seems good. the laser should be on good condition.....to make a DEAL
 
ppl take a different battery other than that they are top notch you did well great buy

so, i got the PPL-225 , its in mint condition physically and beam is clean ,original certificate and key etc...

now i need to invest in some NIMH 6000 mah C batts. . and a beam expander
