The laser has finally been delivered. I am not sure what day exactly that it came because I was away for the weekend but when I got home tonight it was waiting behind my door.
I will do a review of it soon but I'll say a few quick things about it first.
My first impression... WOW.
This laser is extremely bright, to the point where looking at the dot on the wall is painful. This thing is definately not a toy, and should not be used for any kind of presentation. You would seriously have to hand out sunglasses to your audience.
I don't have a meter to measure the output but comparing to other people who have the 95mw Viper it seems to be right there, if not more.
It lights red matches quickly, smokes/burns dark surfaces, and OUCH it burns your hand!!
Outside it is dark, the beam is very bright and just goes out of site.
I had a True green 30mw pointer from DX that was impressive as hell but the 95mw Viper from DL is MUCH more powerful.
The only bad thing about the laser itself is that it didn't come with a carry case, oh well that's fine.
The worst thing however, is the agonizing wait for it to get delivered, which is not DL's fault. The USPS has always been patheticly slow and are terrible at updating their tracking info. If you can avoid USPS, do so.
