Hello, I'm looking for a single-mode 450nm blue laser, preferably compact.
Power: 80-300mw good optics collimated.
Important: complete laser.
If I do not find anything decent I have alternatives in Lazerer and laserbtb pretty good.

I think the Pocket is actually multimode, so OP wouldn't want it.

Could probably still message Podo and see if they could do a custom one with a PL450B or PLT 5 450B.
I think I recall seeing a few posts where people got some custom lasers from them although they were a wavelength in a host they don't list it as available in such as a 405nm spiker.

Last I looked, DTR's google store sells single mode RG or B laser modules with a driver and lens all ready to pop in a laser host which you can buy from SurvivalLaser.com - If DTR doesn't show them listed, he will surely put one together for you.

I guess with a 10440 battery, the duration will be very limited.
I've had a 445nm 1.4w I've sold recently. My use to point the night sky and aim at the distance. 1.4W too powerful and dangerous.
445nm 500mw is just as impressive at night.
200mw 450nm singlemode perhaps not so impressive, I do not know, I have not ever tasted. Perhaps someone could comment me.

Yeah, I have the 250mw 638nm and 405nm pocket, and I'd say that they have short duty cycles. They get hot fast. But I'd say they probably get 12-15 minutes continuous on a 10440. So they're pretty efficient or the batteries are good. I wouldn't be turned away. I'm curious as to why you want single mode. Divergence?

Why does it need to be blue? A single mode 50mw 520nm would be far more visible.

I have many green 532nm, I like blue.
Maybe the next one will be a 520nm.

Mmmm. Why do you think 1.4 watts blue is too dangerous. I'm sure someone like you is responsible enough.

I just don't think a blue laser at 200mw is good for night pointing. It's not terrible, I can barely see the beam of my 250mw 405nm pocket at night.

I am 17 myself, and I own several lasers. I've had high powered ones since I was 15. Teach responsible use like with firearms.
