I gotta say thanks again. Posting this was more help than you'd know - mostly because I was not aware of the front-end screw-off ring!!



Imagine trying to remove the parts ALL from the bottom!! That was me :banghead:

I might have a chance in making one thanks to this post !! I've had a couple of these just waiting to be built.

I'm glad the picture was helpful. These hosts are well made. The seams are completely invisible.



Buying new or unknown flashlights to use as hosts can be a gamble. Often you don't really know how, or even if they come apart until you get them in your hands. I've got a pile of flashlight that looked really cool, but just won't work as laser hosts.
