Hello members,
Its been a while since i posted something on a forums, but today is the day of my first year on a LPF, but i will make another thread about that.

So today i want to see what is inside of my Sanwu Pocket 638nm(300mw version)

Here's the laser itself:

My eye catched this sanwu driver with marking:

Here's the current consumption at 3.7v and 4.2v:

Then i wrapped everything back.
Yea, its fun to learn something daily :D

That's kinda neat Nexgen. :thanks: for the breakdown. I've got a couple of Pockets, now I know what and how they come apart. Enjoy, and thanks for the pics! :)

For some reason your images aren't loading for me.

I can view the page source, grab the image link and open it in a new tab manually, but the images aren't loading in the post. Weird.

What browser are you using?

Just one thing I would like to know is about the driver. Is it buck or linear driver, if somebody know?

Looks like a linear driver to me.

The 405/445/520 versions likely use a boost driver given the higher forward voltages for those diodes. Red LDs have a fairly low forward voltage and will run off of a linear driver and a 3.7V cell without issue.

The Disconnect extension also blocks userapi.com. What is it and why use it?

Its just a social media image hosting, nothing special here. By the way, what hosting should I use instead of this one?
