Building a "everycolor" / RGB >3W Laserpointer

Actic uses the Big Clive RGB chip, as well do I, as well many others here for their RGB pointers. Is not analog by any means and run its PWM at ~350Hz.
It is one of the most convenient preprogrammed RGB effects chip around if you don't want to build the software yourself.

Hello guys!
I did make a new video showcasing the current menu system. It also includes a few crappy beam shots (my phone really does suck or i don't know how to use it)

Have a Look:

Don't get me wrong that's really cool, but wouldn't it have been easier to just add a Bluetooth module and link it to a phone app to control the menu?

Yes that would also be a possibility but it would increase the size and could have bad range if the antenna would be inside the metal casing.

However i like the encoder and after some experiments with the menu structure (see first sites, i did change it) i find i quite usable like it is.
There could be some "presets" or favorite colors, but i don't think its necessary.
The last color that was set will get saved. So there is technically one preset :D.
I could also implement something, i do have tons of free space inside the controller, but i don't know what i would add.
Maybe a soft random color fade mode.
If i would do it again, i would just add a display to give better feedback where you are inside the menu.

I did also implement the thermal shutdown / thermal dimming. If the laser head gets to hot, the overall brightness will get reduced.
This will prevent overheating.

Its almost 3 years since the start of this Project.

I thought its finished but I changed my mind and tried anodizing the housing.

I think it turned out very nice:

The anodizing isn't perfect. Especially the 5 color heatsink at the front shows some irregularities.
I certainly failed at masking the colored regions. However its good enough for the girls I go out with and a nice addition to the already finished unit.

We need some beam shots!

How much to sell it to me?
