Buget Around $300, Most Reliable Power I Can Get?

Lol you don´t understand :p

The thread starter wrote in his OP that he read about bad JETLASERS products. Some people, including me, asked where he got that infot about bad comments (cause JETLASERS is great). Then the threadstarter recognized that he was wrong about bad JET comments and edited his OP. Got it? ;)

Exactly.

I am contacting daguin now do see what he can do. I can get the diode, get it installed into the axis module, and leades for ~$62.

Are their tutorials on how to take that and assemble it into a host?

Also how did the price of these get so cheap? I remember a few years ago, just small 10-15mW violet and blue lasers were ~$1000 on WL. Now I come here and people are building 1W blue lasers for $100...I don't think I could have dreamed of that then.. I am so confused! Seems as if the price came down on greens a little also. (except at nova :P, yes, I missed the big "give away")

Each Casio HD projector has 24 (is that correct?) of these diodes in it. So people can buy the projector for 700-800, and then harvest all the 1W diodes out of it.
As for the diode, that's a good idea to get leads already soldered on if you have limited soldering skills. DTR is also selling diodes and i'm sure he would add leads as well. Regardless of who you buy it from, I would request flaminpyro "silicone" leads attached to the diode.
They are leads with a silicone based insulator and many tiny conductors. It makes the wire super flexible and very easy to work with.
As for WL.........i'll hold my tongue.

Once you've got your diode/module your still going to need a host to put it in.
There are tons of people selling them (including myself)
If i had to suggest a host from someone other than myself, i would say go with ehgemus. He makes great custom hosts from pure aluminum bar stock, and they're cheap. I don't know what he charges now, but he use to sell them for like $35, and now he adds a nice gloss black powder coat to them.

I've also got some cree hosts that focus the laser with the head of the flashlight by spinning it, but it may not be a good idea for a first build....

In all honestly when it comes to building your own, i would of suggested starting with a red 240mW LPC-815 diode and a rkcstr or groove drive since they are cheap and it won't empty your pockets if you mess up and destroy your diode.

NEVER buy the Lvyilaser!!!

Go with a Yobresal laser in the B/S/T section if you want one of the best laser for visibility/burning for your bucks. Or wait till I got a full reply on the DINODIRECT/VIASHO laser if you want a green laser and it doesn´t hurry to get one.

No, you read his post wrong, told him he said something bad about Jet, then he began to believe he did.
Then Udanis wanted to know what PhysX saw because of what YOU said. Not him.
Now PhysX thinks he edited something bad about Jet. Which he didn't.
His unedited original post said nothing about Jet except that they were a bit expensive.
I think maybe you read what he said about Rayfoss and thought he meant Jet.

No, I explained it to you that Physx edited his OP after udanis and me persuaded Physx that there aren´t bad comments about JET. But believe what you want, I´m out.

I just ordered a 1.5W 445 from kiyoukan for a great price of $190! Now to buy some protective glasses for this laser and I am set. Thank you guys for the help.

It would be a good idea to avoid shining it on your skin as well, makes for some pretty nasty open sores.
I burn myself all the time, in fact about 2 hours ago I burned the crap out of my left thumb on the head of an acetylene torch.
445nm burns are worse though.
