How would these things last in a CNI Pen rated at >95mw? I currently have some rechargeable energizer at 850mAh and they last no time in it (they are new too). Voltage drops to 1.25 volts really fast..

I'm sold out of eneloop AAA's. But to answer your question, the enloops are LSD and have a lower internal resistance than the energizer 850mah's, so they would hold out better then the energizers. These AAA's can take several amps of current draw. Most Ni-mh's wouldn't survive that kind of torture...
