What do you guys think of the BMW i8, it looks like a very modern car to me. I heard about it a while ago, and did some research about it after I saw it in Mission Impossible 4. I want it...:whistle: It looks like something out of a futuristic movie.

Around 800K 445nm diodes :p

Jim

I better start saving up then. :p

Speaking of which, IIRC that car uses the laser headlights proposed by bmw.(445nm pumping phosphorous to excite it into white light emission)

I was looking for that thread, I read it before and couldn't find it. Another reason for us hobbyist to be interested in this car.

The car looks kind of Alien-like cant imagine seeing one on the street.

Wow, i'm not usually a car guy, but that looks awesome! :D

i8 seems suitable enough, calling it "the badass bmw that could only be more fucking awesome if it had a pair of tits and was on fire" is too long.

Anyway, I don't really like the name either, but its a cool car so....

Thanks for the video.

I like it. I like it A LOT.

Except the doors... they are transparent, a minus imo.

Same they looked cool in the movie but , I dont know if i like them transparent looking at the real thing.

Nice car, not bad, but personally I prefer the Koenigsegg Agera :D
