We should have 3 golden weeks a year too. Despite what they say about chinese being hardworking and all, they certainly do know how to have long holidays. :)
 





yeah the US sucks for holidays. I'm lucky I get 10 days off. Most of the rest of the world gets at least 20 and some are nearly 2 months worth of holidays. China has been around so long every other day there is some kind of holiday, japan,india, the whole of east asia.
 
Don't forget about every Monday is a holiday here in the US too, at least for Chinese food restaurants. They always seem to be closed on Mondays. :-?
 
Well, suppose that it is still possible to order (due to the holiday), then PP is possible, and total cost is 18$ a diode for Paypal, and 5$ for domestic shipping.

GAH !!! Wrong Group buy, man ! Check Daedal's earlier posts for details on the costs, and where to send money. I would verify with him prior to sending funds that it is still possible to get in on it.

I thought they were more like $30 + PP fees + shipping. I think you might be getting confused with SenKat's GB. Check DDL's Sig

Perhaps you can get that talk like a pirate day turned into a government holiday. I'm sure the post office would be glad for any extra excuse to delay our mail.
 
Given the fact that that entire country is shut down because (according to new reports ;D) The BANKS are closed for a week... so effectively the whole country is cut off from the rest of the world unless you're willing to barter salt and butter ::) That'd be A LOT of salt for a few laser diodes there... ;D

Anyway... I suppose I can take more orders up until the 1st then, but I want to be 100% positive that I can get my order in on the 8th (7th is a Sunday) so no orders past the 1st no matter what. It takes a while for the money to get to me, and I don't want to delay this any further. This gives everyone 3 more days to order as you please... after which your money will be refunded, unless you want to get in on the next group buy if it appears to be happening. :)

Placed an order for 1, I want one incase I mess up my next 2 diodes from senkat, so Ill keep this one in a static bag for a while.
