I think i know what happened,,,,dude,,he drank your laser,, ive only seen this a few times, but im guessing he was out , got hammered and swallowed it.
Maybe he mistook it for something else, dunno.

It is very strange. I found his address then I sent him an SMS like this;

"Hi Bora.I'll visit you in the evening one day this week. You can give my laser back or pay for it. Your flat is in Burak Apartment, right?"

And he didn't reply! There can be 3 reason for him not to answer I guess;

1) He doesn't care
2) He doesn't give a chance that I can visit him
3) This address could be his family's house and not his own.

This is very annoying indeed!

Dont do anything stupid or you will be in trouble and he will win.
If your country has gone as soft as mine, the courts will punish you instead of him.

I did visit him. After my visit I changed the thread to weird man instead of never trust him and I'll tell you why.
After talking to him I can say all happened are bad coincidence. He told me that he has sent the money to my account and payed me when I told him that I didn't receive it. After that he checked it and learned that it didn't. Also the man at the bank couln't reach him to tell the money hasn't been sent
His big problem is being unreachable.
He says he doesn't want to be in that laser hobby anymore.
I think his ban can be removed so he can at least write under this thread. He told me that he felt very bad when he saw that scammer thread about himself.
That's all the story. I am not sure if we can call it the happy ending! :undecided:

I've met a lot of scammers in the past that spin a nice

I also stand behind what I said. I trust anyone only once.
I got my money so I believe in his story.
Anyway if he is a scammer why pay my money?
I must admit he is a bit feckless but not a scammer I think.
As he doesn't care so much at all he may write nothing or make no comments after ban removed.

What you said makes sense, but in this case since Murrat got his money, I don't think the guy is a scammer.

Some people are just absolutely terrible at business discipline.

I´m with laserbee. This guy said he saw this thread and felt bad about it. So he had access to internet and this forum. He could explain the situation either officially or at least PM Murrat if he were honest, but he didn´t care till Murrat visited him. He felt safe Murrat won´t find him till he found him and visited him. Then all of the sudden he changed his mind when both were standing face to face. That was the moment he realized Murrat won´t give up and he lost. He was just shitting into his panties and prefarred to tell him a dump storie and pay the laser rahter than spend a few weeks in the hospital.

So well done Murrat, but there is really no need to excuse this guy. He wanted to scam you but realized you are not such a dumpass he was thinking and it´s better to pay you the laser rather than getting deeper into troubles.

I prefer giving people the benefit of the doubt whenever it's possible/reasonable. Not saying it's a good approach... but it's worked so far for me

Ye3s, I know what you mean and such situations can happen to everyone. It´s just someone who got into such a situation usually will try to explain it directly but not hide till he will be found. This guy at least had access to internet and this forum so was not totally unreachable. There was no problem for him to drop Murrat a line and explain the situation.

In general I´m like you giving people this benefit. But in this situation I was asking myself a simple question. Why didn´t he explain it directly but first after Murrat visited him? This smells a lot. And what did he tell him why he didn´t explain it to him over the forum? Maybe another stiroe like "a guy whom I scammed too broke my fingers, so I couldn´t write you a message".

If it sounds possible/resonable I´m having no problem in beliving this. But this here sounds like a building full of lies.
