Personally, i don't know these batt's but what i know is that
for builds above 1.2A the AW IMR CR123's are the BEST !

The only reason i ask is that the AW IMR batteries are really expensive in the uk! But the onse i posted are nice and cheap. They have the same voltage of 3.7 but the ones i posted have a much higher AH.

TR 16340 are Trustfire. Have a quick search around you'll soon see why you should avoid xxxfire batteries if possible ;)

It may say 1000mAh on the label but that's not necessarily true. (probably not even close)

You will need batteries capable of providing a good high current and the AW IMR's are the best i.m.o.
Spend wisely and get good batteries.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll pay the extra for the aw's lol, will they charge on my 1860 charger with spacer magnets? It has an output of 4.2v DC 800ma
Thanks again

I don't know about ultrafire's 16340 chargers but have a look on ebay for an Xtar MP2 16340 charger.
That's not a bad little 16340 charger for under a tenner and charges to 4.18 - 4.19v. (4.2v would be perfect but its close enough for me :D)

Well, my experience with RC123A (16340s) has not been all that great. IF you really want good duty from your batteries, I would strongly suggest going (IF YOU CAN) 18650 cell route. Many 16340s are quite overly rated (ie,Ultrafire and trustfire) and as such tend to be used for builds that require more power than they can handle. I actually had one blowup in a charger once, and yes it was an ultrafire and less than 2months old.

I agree with Seoul lasers . . .

The proper charging voltage for the two AW 16340 cells is 4.2 VDC.
