I've tried downloading it 4 times and each time I get a message...

I just flipped through it and I can't find anything "ban-worthy". All the experiments and reactions they detail are quite harmless; heck, I remember doing most of these reactions in HS chemistry... I'm either severely overlooking the material or the soccermoms are really winning...

"Test hydrogen for purity by collecting a test tube full of it and bringing a lighted match to mouth of tube, as shown on page 25. Hydrogen mixed with air explodes with a sharp "bark". Pure hydrogen burns with a quiet "pop"."

It was aimed at kids, go guess why did they ban it lol

Really? I got my first chemistry set at the age of 7 and that was one of the first experiments I did... The experiments of the book are tame, I expected a tutorial on making nitric acid or something...
