Banggood's Daily Deals At LPF(Update Continually)

Banggood are legit as far as getting you the item is concerned. Reasonable prices too. Whether the item will be up to spec is more debatable.

Exactly grainde, they are just like those other Chinese resellers that you mentioned.
Their shipping times seem to as good or better than most.
I've been buying from them for years also, I have some switches on the way as we speak.
Being like these other Chinese companies, and reselling many different products, I doubt that they are going to provide us a whole lot of detailed info. on their individual laser products.

Ive bought loads of stuff from Banggood and havent had any problems, they are a good company. FYI they take around 2 weeks to ship to Europe and are similar to sites like Fasttech, Gearbest, DX and Kaidomain.

Edit: If you are into quadcopters their Eachine products are good quality and well priced. ;)

Thanks for info. Now we have a first reference here. :) Still I think their lasers specs seems too suspicious for me to believe them. Maybe it is because I do not like those "50000MW" for a few bucks adds - I just see: Higher number, higher chance to get money from unaware customer. Often they do not even bother to distinguish between mili and mega (not a case of banggood to be honest).

Edit: First references...

That's good news then. Don't want to judge too soon.
Just didn't like the look of those u'kings.

I have to agree with Razako and Bowtie, some products are not up to spec. As with most CN resellers you must be careful and not blindly believe the specs. As the old saying goes; you get what you pay for! However, if you know what you are buying and eg want to mod it anyway (think flashlight ;) Convoy etc) they are a good source of cheap gear and components.

I ordered about 5 hours ago 2 of the exact same 10pc micro switch package, 1 from Banggood and 1 from a typical ebay retailer with a 98.4% positive review.
I'm taking bets which arrives first? Ebay seller is from HongKong..

Yep, they have an extensive flashlight, and flashlight component selection, they sell some nice, high quality lights that were developed with the guys over at BLF (Budget Light Forums).
As a matter of fact, the "BLF A6 XPL" that is listed in the OP's 1st post is one of those projects IIRC, hence the BLF in the name of the light. :)

I've purchased a few times from Banggood in the past. As far as the laser go, they are the same ones we've seen from other Chinese suppliers. Can't say I've purchased a flashlight from them. Might take that plunge just to see.

So seeing from references, they are reputable for various cheap stuff sold also elsewhere. Equal or better shipping times, good customer care...

But you have to know what you are buying (here LPF search bar is useful to check laser product considered). I've not seen the U'King I linked above before, for such an amount I would expect product up to specs, so I was quite surprised about offer of 1.5 W, since the highest power in portable of 532 nm is Opto's RPL II AFAIK. So no miracle happens here.

Thanks for clarification, maybe I'll go for something from them, if I'm interested in good deal on some cheap stuff. :)

What does Power: 1mw:1500mw ; 5mw: 5000mw
actually mean

Jerry

The actual power of this laser is 1500MW and 5000mw, if you want 1500MW, choose 1mw, 5000mw choose 5mw.:yh:

Oh, that's very confusing... What about using mW (milli watt) and W (watt) correctly? 1 W = 1000 mW (good to use for reducing number of zeros for high powers). And also MW (with capital M) is mega watt. It is 1 MW = 1 000 kW (kilo watt) = 1 000 000 W = 1 000 000 000 mW
As you can see MW is something very different from mW. It is always good to use correct units - otherwise it looks you do not know what you are selling and not very professional.

See here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metric_prefix

I hope it helps to clarify your specs info. ;)

Since you don't live in the USA, I don't expect you to know this, but the answer to your question has to do with American laws.
