4 words...drama queen, attention whore. This has been Deranged's MO since I've known him. Do you guys really think this will change? Every comment he has made here, and in other posts support this. This behavior does not change. So you either let him keep doing it or dont. All you guys expecting him to change are dreaming. It takes a deep want, and many years to change. I thinks its obvious he does not care. So you have two choices, ban him, or ignore him. Any other debates or second chances are a waste of time. He is loving all this attention, and you will never change that.

I agree that what he did was lame, but bitching (sorry for the expression) about it won't chage anything. He did bad things, he apologized, now get over with it.

Just to clarify... I'm not mad I'm disappointed at the total lack of empathy
and character of one of our own...

As far as I'm concerned this 3 day fiasco was not settled with a weenie
"sorry all" 2 days after the fact..

And if I may say so.... I'll get over it when I'm good and ready....:cool:

What I want has nothing to do with this thread... it has to do with
what is appropriate for rangedunits to do...
I've already PMed him myself yesterday... I know how my keyboard
works...:D

Now things are going worse every day. I'll throw some light on it. Maybe the comment wasn't right, but remember who he is. He is all day on /b/. That isn't an excuse, but you all know how things work there, black humor all the day, but you perfectly know he wasn't serious. He isn't serious about the 90% of the things he says, and you all know it.

Keeping that in mind, it was not him who had the idea about lying instead saying sorry. Of course, he was afraid of the whole thing and just did what he was told. No names are needed, please don't make things worse now.

@Ranged: you shouldn't have posted that last post, you opened the Pandora box...

My point exactly. Since when does rep mean anything? people give rep:

1. for a witty remark
2. if they agree (right/wrong irrelevant)
3. if they like the same music/sports team etc.
4. in return for getting rep
5. for no reason at all
6. in return for helpful advice
7. indicating successful buy/sell/trade

With only the last two having any meaning, and constituting the minority, how can you give the system any credibility?

Well ... it was a day later that I fessed, not quite right away ... and I didn't blame someone else. :whistle:

But I still made a mistake - and I came forward and apologized.:yabbem:

Ranged! Look, I made a mistake too and I came forward asked to be forgiven and tried to learn my lesson and start contributing again. Have I gained all the respect I used to have back? No not yet. But I will eventually if I keep contributing and posting useful information (Hopefully?)

Just say that you did it and accept the blame for it - we're not going to think any less of you for that, we'll only think less of you if you don't come forward.

I'm not going to try and persuade you any more. The choice is yours.

I think for any future Polls there should perhaps be a deadline attached..

That's seriously no excuse at all.

I know for a fact FML and me are /b/tards. Even diachi lurked /b/ before, ever see us making bad taste jokes? Do we behave ourselves the way we behave in /b/? Not quite.
If you've been there for more than 10 minutes you'd know that ranged wouldn't last 1 minute in there.
