Sounds like a good idea, I imagine this would actually be a pretty good installation of a 405nm as they produce a good power level capable of being ran in these hosts with regard to heat. What do you plan on running the diode at?

Probably 500mw. Maybe a tad higher. But I'd like to make sure to get some longevity out of it.
